Energy and building efficiency

Industrial energy monitoring

Industrial processes are often the focus of numerous energy efficiency incentives and programs, particularly due to their high energy consumption. While there are dedicated ESCOs and system integrators specialized in industrial processes, industrial buildings tend to adopt the same solutions used for commercial buildings. Additionally, machine manufacturers are increasingly integrating monitoring solutions into their equipment, while energy managers seek the most effective solutions for their specific needs, typically through a combination of the best SaaS-based Energy Management Systems (EMS) and high-quality monitoring hardware.

Commercial energy monitoring

Public buildings, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, and similar establishments are increasingly required to meet Green Deal standards or adhere to green certification frameworks. As a result, Building Management Systems (BMS) are evolving into Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), where energy management becomes a central component of the overall set of procedures, systems, and devices responsible for the daily operation of the building.

Commercial PV monitoring systems

Photovoltaic generation is a key pillar of the energy transition. Monitoring the production of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) PV plants, along with the building's energy consumption, is essential for long-term operation, maintenance, and optimizing energy harvesting. Companies that offer remote energy management services for fleets of PV plants are increasingly extending their offerings to both retrofitted and new C&I installations.

Residential energy monitoring

In many countries, property managers are responsible for negotiating better contracts with utility providers and allocating costs to the residents. They often depend on specialized SaaS portal providers and companies offering system solutions for managing metering data. Revenue-grade metering is a crucial component of this entire process.
