PD30 smart sensor

Optimized for application in conveyor systems and packaging machinery, the PD30 IO-Link smart sensors provide unique predefined and selectable application functions: speed and length, pattern recognition, divider and object and gap monitoring. These embedded functionalities help the customer with additional data and decentralized controls, which is very important to optimize the production process and enable predictive maintenance.

ICB smart sensors

The ICB and ICS range of high-performance IO-Link inductive sensors for contactless and wear free detection of metallic objects provides additional embedded functions optmized for conveyor systems, like speed monitoring with over and underspeed control, as well as RPM counter through an adjustable divider function.

IRC40 sensors

The IRC40 inductive sensor, with its rectangular and rotatable housing, is the ideal solution to detect metal objects in harsh ambient conditions thanks to the IP68 and IP69K protection degree. The IRC40 assures accurate and reliable detection of actuating parts on conveyor systems and material handling, offering maximum installation flexibility thanks to the rotatable head and dedicated mounting bracket.

Interconnectivity

The use of fieldbus and manufacturer independent IO-Link communication protocol have significantly increased the visibility of the processes and the diagnostics and process data, providing continuous feedback on the machine operating conditions.
Our Y series of IO-Link Master, with EtherNet/IP™, PROFINET IO and MODBUS TCP, allows the connection and interface of the smart devices to the control systems for real time data access and analysis.
On-the-fly diagnostic data, adjustments of sensing and switching parameters and troubleshooting are now available at the touch of a finger; thanks to the Smart Configurator SCTL55 the field engineers can adjust the settings of the smart sensors to accomodate frequently changing production processes.
