Capacitive sensors
Pellet burners offer some challenges to electrical components due to high temperature operation as well as the dusty environment. This is especially true when it comes to detection.
CA30CAGQJO4V67C6Y sensors trigger a dust alarm when the sensor requires cleaning. Additionally, they also trigger a temperature alarm whenever the temperature exceeds 60°C or 140°F.
In IO-Link capacitive sensors CA30CAN25 series information such as density of the wooden pellets around the sensor can be exchanged with the control system. Temperature alarm setting can also be configured for higher flexibility.

Inductive sensors
Within a pellet burner application, inductive sensors such as our ICB series, are used to detect the position of the dampers so as to direct the air flow where needed. Short circuit, reverse polarity and transients protection is assured.
